Support Workers – Dundee and Angus

We have exciting opportunities in our services in Dundee and Forfar for Support Workers.
The role involves supporting people with personal care; the administration of medication; support planning; assisting people to plan activities and being involved in all aspects of their lives. It is essential that you have good communication skills and recognise that the rights and interests of the people we support come first.
Previous experience is not essential as you will receive extensive training and coaching for the job. You will, however, need to have a strong work ethic, be a good team player, and believe passionately in the rights of people with disabilities to live interesting and meaningful lives. Your values are important to us as is having a proactive approach to making every moment count when you are working alongside the people we support.

Successful applicants must be in a position to gain qualification as determined by the SSSC for registration purposes and be able to gain professional registration with the SSSC within the timescale required, where relevant.
