We are currently looking to recruit an experienced male support worker to join our support services in the Cumbernauld area. Specifically you will work with a young male adult who has learning difficulties ,complex communication and health needs including epilepsy. He is also a wheelchair user and is supported by two staff.
To meet his needs and agreed outcomes you will work closely with his family and support team to provide a person centred package of care. You will support him to access a range of meaningful activities including sensory and music sessions,bowling, shopping, having lunch out, as well as opportunities to socialise with friends and other young adults. He has his own car and requires staff that are drivers.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced staff and have access to training and management support 24 hours per day as well as individual supervision sessions and team meetings.
As an Organisation Sense is very committed to staff development. You will have access to a range of mandatory and service specific training, opportunities to undertake a formal qualification and regular support meetings with your peers and management team.
